I have a lot of ebooks on my kindle. I read whenever I can find the time and Zombie genre is my personal favorite. I really enjoyed this ebook, and now have the other 2 in the series with the latest on my wish list. I found his writing to be both intriguing as well as very descriptive. I liked all the details he included and it made his characters come alive for me. They weren't simply writing on a page they were real people, living, breathing and struggling to survive in a harsh world gone mad. I would recommend this writer and his stories to a friend as well as purchase future books from him. I am unsure when I purchased this book but am so glad it finally made it into my read now list.Product details

Great series!! Can't wait for more!! Well worth the time to read. Author did such a great job with this book.
Good book but buy as the set!
Nice introductory book. I will definitely purchase the next one.i would have liked to get more background on what started it, but other than that a good quick read.
Good story line, but a little slow.
Civilization is coming to an end. This story follows some of the survivors that managed to somehow stay alive. The Zombies have taken up residences in houses that are not occupied. And, they are in groups called nests.
Owen has a premonition about the world ending. Hannah is with him but is not as sure UNTIL...
This story is the beginning of a colony being formed with the rescued survivors. Where will they go for refuge and who will be their leader?
Interesting read and highly recommended.
To limited no storyline I need the other books of the series it left big gaps in what you think might be happening. Like do they relate to finding others.
I like having short, easy to read, zombie apocalypse stories around to fill time around my more serious reading. I've been fortunate to find some excellent pieces of relatively inexpensive escapism in the genre, but one of the "dangers" of that approach is that you sometimes find that some badly written, poorly edited, pieces that are a complete waste of time and money...even if they're free. I realize the genre is a bit uneven, but when I see the relatively positive ratings here, I can't help but wonder "are they relatives of the author?" Anyway, writing is harder that most readers will even know (or acknowledge), but you'd be well-advised to spend your time reading something else - even if this is free.
